Artificial intelligence is powering a historic surge in server demand<\/a>. In Q1\u202f2025, global AI server sales jumped <\/span>134% year\u2011over\u2011year to $95.2\u202fbillion<\/b>, marking the fastest quarterly growth in 25\u202fyears, according to IDC. As CEO Jensen\u202fHuang celebrated the role of open\u2011source models in driving enterprise AI adoption, it is clear that Nvidia’s strategy is evolving. Huang noted, <\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/i>Open\u2011source models are opening up large enterprises, SaaS companies, industrial companies, robotics companies to now join the AI revolution because enterprises want to build their own custom proprietary software stacks.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

To support that shift, Nvidia launched the <\/span>GPU\u2011powered RTX\u202fPro server<\/b>, designed for conventional IT environments yet capable of advanced agentic and physical AI workloads.
